What’s the Point?

“Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose.”
Charles Eames

When designing for retail, aesthetics is important and so is creating measurable results; translation: generating sales is king.  However, unless you start with a well developed, comprehensive strategic plan, a design project can quickly veer off course, leaving you with a beautiful environment that has no effect on shoppers.

Constructing a retail space that makes shoppers buy what you want to sell begins with a clear strategy that includes vision, innovative design, implementation and, most importantly, measurability. Measurability is an important part of a comprehensive design program that often gets overlooked. Without measurability, there is no way to know if your design delivers.

From the beginning, a simplified system for determining your ROI integrated into the design process can guarantee total program success.
